Approximately 188 days ago, I announced that I was given permission to port Nick La’s phpBB2 template “N.Design.” About a week after I announced that I was starting it, I had finished it and had it up for beta testers. Unfortunatly, I ran into many problems with it working in different browsers. Due to that I decided that I would wait until phpBB3 reaches GOLD to allow downloads of the style. looking back, it was a very smart thing to do since all styles created before RC6 would no longer work with the newer version without a heavy upgrade. Since the beginning or the RC (Release Candidate) releases for phpBB3 the SDK was made available to the public for translation purposes. As a web designer who makes styles for forums I required the source files of the actual forum/topic icons. Unfortunately, the only files made available were the post icons mainly the ones with text. I’ve added my first tutorial to the site. In this tutorial you will learn how to replicate the phpBB logo which made its premier during the beta stages of phpBB3. At the time there was no official .psd set released for the images so I decided to make my own. If you compare my final result with the actual image you will see that they are nearly identical.
