To imitate the phpBB logo style, you can either download the .psd in this post or by adding the following effects to your text… Note: You will need the Cocon Font Family to imitate it correctly

  1. Create a new file 250px (Width) by 70px (Height) with a transparent background.
  2. Type the message you would like have the effect of the phpBB logo using the Cocon Bold font face. Set the alignment of the text to center.
  3. Place the text in the middle of your canvas.
  4. In the layer properties open up the blending options and add the following effects:

Drop Shadow…

Inner Shadow…

Bevel and Emboss…

Gradient Overlay…
